The Liquid Villa
Spanish country house style surf villa in Galizano – Enjoy the wonderful countryside in Galizano and the surrounding area, a quiet village located in Cantabria, northern Spain. The house is located on the Way of St. James and has numerous beaches and perfect waves, as well as numerous hiking opportunities. We offer our guests the opportunity to take part in surfing courses at our surf school in the Liquid Surfhouse (1 km away).
The house is a 7-minute walk from the sea. Thanks to its quiet location, the Liquid Villa is perfect for switching off and relaxing.
The Liquid Villa has 5 bedrooms, 2 with double beds and 3 rooms with two single beds each, with the master bedroom having its own bathroom and WC. The other rooms share two further bathrooms. The house offers you a large garden for sporting activities. There are many cozy restaurants in Galizano and in the nearby towns of Loredo and Somo.

Our surf courses for you in Langre, Spain, with top surf coaches
Our courses are divided into beginner, intermediate and advanced courses. All courses follow a proven, methodical learning concept. Weekly appointments can optionally be extended by one week. The course takes place 5 days a week and the material is available for practicing on the course-free 6th day.
We will assess your skills on site and place you in the appropriate course level.
Our surf instructors are all licensed and have many years of experience in surfing and teaching. There are various institutions that offer training to become a surf instructor. We only accept certificates from DWV (German Surfing Association), ISA, FES, or BSA to ensure the highest standards.

We offer private lessons and guided tours on request. We will be happy to put together an individual program for you.
The region around Galizano & Langre
The area around Santander – Cantabria, a jewel on the northern Spanish coast – also has countless sights and excursion destinations to offer beyond surfing. Cantabria stretches from the Bay of Biscay to the Picos de Europa, a mountain range with peaks over 2000 meters high.
In addition to surfing, a wide variety of sporting activities are on offer, such as rafting, gotcha, motorcross, mountain biking, hiking tours, diving, kiting and windsurfing.
If you want to experience something completely different, you can visit beautiful national parks with bears still living in the wild.
Culturally, there is also a lot going on here. There are caves, animal parks, medieval villages such as Santillana del Mar and the student town of Comillas, which is home to a Gaudi house. One highlight is the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao – a day trip is a good idea.

Arrival by plane
Ryanair takes you from Berlin to Santander. Eurowings from all major German airports to Bilbao.
All other major airlines fly to Bilbao. Check out Skyscanner or Opodo.
Airport transfer
We offer transfers to and from Bilbao and Santander Airport on request.
There is also public transport from Santander and Bilbao to Langre. The bus company is called ALSA. From Santander you can easily reach Somo in 20 minutes by ferry. It is approx. 3 km from Somo to Langre. Timetable Los Reginas
Arrival by car
For those of you who don’t want to do without your car, there is of course also the option of traveling by car. The distances are, for example, Hamburg – Santander 1,900 km, Cologne – Santander 1,600 km.

Massages
Sabrina is our fairy godmother for massages after sport. She came to Spain from Argentina and is a trained chiropractor, osteopath and nutritionist. If your muscles are cramped after a long day of surfing, a massage provides the right relaxation to continue surfing the next day in good health. We offer massages 3 days a week (30 minutes for €19).
Yogalates
Jacqui teaches “Yogalates” (Yoga & Pilates) at the Liquid Surfhouse. She studied different styles of yoga in India and Thailand for several years and then trained in Pilates and anatomy in Spain. She has been teaching Yogalates since 2008. We offer you this perfect balance to surfing 3 times a week. You can book an hour on site for €10 or a 3-ticket for €25. Lessons take place in small groups.
Further activities
Our Liquid Surfhouse has a trampoline, table tennis table and slakline. If you feel like chilling out in between, you can also simply relax on our sun deck or in one of our hammocks. You also have the opportunity to go on a tour with our longboards or play volleyball on the beach. There is a multifunctional sports field just a few minutes away.
